Launch

We launch from the Spectacular Sierra Nevada Foothills just 30 minutes East of Sacramento in Rancho Murieta.  This area is one of the best kept secrets in Northern California!

After the flight you can continue up Jackson Highway as the area has many Award Winning Vineyards.  Incredibly, almost all of the wineries offer free wine tasting and tours.  From simple drive yourself wine tasting tours on up to catered picnics with limousine shuttles from vineyard to vineyard we can help you make the most of your stay in the area!

Where We Meet:
We meet our clients at at 7175 Murieta Dr. in Rancho Murieta, CA 96863.  This location is the Rancho Murieta Country Store.  It is open at 5:30am and is the last stop before the adventure begins.  Our actual meeting site is 1000ft. “behind” the store.  Go one block south of Jackson Rd.on Murieta Dr.  Make a left into the launch field at the first stop sign.  We are located halfway between the Country Store and the Private Airport.

Meeting Times:
We meet at Sunrise!  Please be prompt as we cannot delay the launch time.  Due to the weather requirements of hot air ballooning, an early meeting time is critical for safe flying.  Remember to call in between 10:00am and 6:00pm the day before the flight to verify favorable weather conditions.  Failure to do so may result in being billed as a no show.

What to Wear/Bring:
Dress in layers as it will warm up later in the morning. Please wear closed toe shoes or closed toe sandals. Camera with lots of film/memory. Sunscreen, mosquito repellent, hat, and happy face. Sorry, but no cell phones are allowed to be “on” in the basket unless previously arranged.
